Giandomenico Basso and Mitia Dotta get the win on the Gpl powered Ford Fiesta R5

16 March Il Ciocco (Lu) - Giandomenico Basso and Mitia Dotta, on the Ford Fiesta R5 powered by GPL set up by BRC Gass Equipment, won the 37th Rally del Ciocco and Valle del Serchio, that is the opening round of the Italian Rally Championship 2014. The Italian proceeded the reigning champion Umberto Scandola, Skoda Fabia Super2000, and Paolo Andreucci who took the new Peugeot T1 6 R5 to the debut on the home streets. Giandomenico Basso took the lead after the opening stage and kept it all the way through to the final finish line.
