Paolo Andreucci and Anna Andreussi win the 43rd Rally San Marino on Peugeot 208 T16 R5

Republica of San Marino, Sunday 12 July 2015 - Paolo Andreucci and Anna Andreussi, Peugeot 208 T16 R5, are the winners of the 43rd San Marino Rally, race organized by F.A.M.S. and valid as fifth round of the Italian Rally Championship and fourth of the Gravel Trophy. The driver from Tuscany obtained the final victory at the end of the two racing days, leading Simone Campedelli and Danilo Fappani, Peugeot 207 S2000 with an advantage of 26.9s.

The third absolute place was obtained by Giandomenico Basso and Lorenzo Granai, on the GPL powered Ford Fiesta R5 at 1'25.6s.

The fourth absolute time and the fourth victory in the Gravel Trophy went to Mauro Trentin and Alice De Marco, Peugeot 207 Super 2000 that had their life easier after the direct rival Luigi Ricci, Ford Fiesta R5, had to stop due to problems to tires marking. Great performance for the San Marino's driver Filippo Reggini, who was protagonist yesterday on Skoda Fabia S2000, who ended fifth. The sixth place in the home race went to Daniele Ceccoli, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX. The seventh and eighth place went to the two gravel specialists Pablo Biolghini on Skoda Fabia S2000 and to Luciano Cobbe on Fiesta S2000. The top ten was rounded up by two youngsters of the Italian Rally Junior Tassone and Panzani. Michele Tassone, together with Daniele Michi took the Peugeot 208 R2 to the victory of the Italian Rally Junior Championship one round early. Luca Panzani and Sara Baldacci, confirmed to be victorious in the Twingo R2 Top Trophy. The rally of San Marino turned out to be bitter for the driver from Este Nicolò Marchioro, also on Peugeot 208 R2, who was disqualified after a great racing day for the same motivations that affected Ricci.
