16/04/2011 - "Dindo" Capello- Audi R8 LMS - Audi Sport Italy (pole sitter) : "All good, this was the first time we went on track after last year. After a couple of laps on used tyres, we put a new set on and it was not easy to understand its behaviour straight away. Anyway, the car did well and we set a very good second lap. Probably we could have done even a better one but with all the traffic on track it was impossible and therefore I did not push further. The car is well balanced and we are happy with this performance".

Joel Camathias - Porsche GT3R - Autorlando (2nd GT3): "Things went fairly well, according to the plan, I am sorry just for a little thing as I did a mistake in the hot lap but we are happy with the car's setup. We aim at the long distance and are hopeful for the race: our target is to get as many points as possible. Audi drivers have more experience as they know their car better than us but they are not uncatchable. We have a similar race pace and the long distance will make all the difference".

Andrea Sonvico - Audi R8 LMS - Audi Sport Italy (3rd GT3): "It has been a good qualifying, I went on track with fresh tyres and I could have certainly improved in the finale but I am good with this. One has to get the most out of new tyres and "Dindo" is great at this. He set a very good time and I am just four tenths adrift, I believe we can improve in the race".

Giorgio Sanna - Lamborghini Gallardo - Team Imperiale (1st GT Cup): "Things went well, we counted a lot on this pole and it came at the end of the session but we are happy as this morning we worked a lot for the race while this afternoon we looked for the performance. I am happy also for the team that at the debut worked very well and the pole gives some morale to everyone".

Victor Coggiola - Porsche 997 - Victor Porsche (1st GT2): "We found quite different tyres in terms of diameter and compound at our comeback to the championship after three years of absence, therefore this first session was useful to find the right setup of the car. I believe that we will have setup problems throughout the weekend as during winter we did not have the chance to run any tests".

Manuel Lasagni - Ginetta G 50 - Nova Race (1st GT4): "It went well but things could have been even better. The car, despite being at the first exit of the season, is fast but we did not manage to get the most out of it due to the sub-optimal tyres pressure and temperature. I lost some time in the pits when I got back and I could not improve due to the traffic".
