Capello-Sonvico (Audi R8 LMS) win race one

Audi Sport Italia's lineup get the first win of the season, leading the Ferrari 458 Italia of Venturi-Maino and the Porsche GT3R of Passuti-Mapelli.

Dindo Capello and Andrea Sonvico secured the victory in Imola's race one valid for the 4th round of the Italian GT Championship.

The lineup of Audi Sport Italia took the R8 LMS on the top step of the podium at the end of a race led from lights to flag proceeding the Ferrari 458 Italia of Venturi-Maino (Black Bull Swisse Racing) by 2"276 and the Porsche GT3R of Passuti-Mapelli (Antonelli Motorsport) by 3"833.
Fourth place for Michela Cerruti (BMW Z4-ROAL Motorsport) who run a recover race ended ahead of the second Audi R8 LMS, that is the one driven by Kristoffersson-Frassineti, the Ferrari 458 Italia of Mancini-Dromedari (Easy Race) and the Porsche GT3R of Postiglione-Lucchini (Ebimotors).

The top ten was completed by Comandini-Colombo (BMW Z4-ROAL Motorsport), Lancieri-Cirò (Ferrari 458 Italia-MP1 Corse), that had to serve a drive through penalty due to an error at the driver swap, and Sanna-Barri (Lamborghini Gallardo-Imperiale Racing), with the latter managing to recover after a contact in the initial stages with Michela Cerruti.

The victory in GT Cup went to Bianco-Babini (Porsche 997-GDL Motorsport) as the duo managed to take Rangoni-Galbiati (Porsche 997-Antonelli Motorsport) in the final stages, while Donativi-Gioia (Porsche 997-Antonelli Motorsport) obtained the third place.
Green lights on race-2 will go off at 16.30 (GMT+1). The race will be available through live web streaming on www.acisporrtitalia.it/GT while Raisport1 will show it at 22,25.
