Vallelunga, Frassineti-Beretta (Ferrari 458 Italia) win race 1 of GT3 and Zanardini-Perel (Lamborghini Gallardo) that of GT Cup

The Italian GT Championship opening on a high with a lot of spectacle on track and a very high technical level.

Frassineti-Beretta and Zanardini-Perel are the first winners of the 13th edition of the Italian GT Championship in the two races run today in Vallelunga.

The color bearer of Ombra Racing at the wheel of the Ferrari 458 Italia of class GT3 proceeded the other Red car of Villorba Corse driven by Schirò-Berton by 3''284, while the third step of the podium went to Bertolotti-Viberti (Lamborghini Gallardo-Imperiale Racing) that were 5"721s shy of the leaders.

The fourth place went to Casè-Gattuso (Ferrari 458 Italia-Scuderia Baldini 27) who proceeded the other Audi R8 LMS (Audi Sport Italia) of Mapelli-Amici, the Porsche GT3R of Donativi-Postiglione (Ebimotors) and the Ferrari 458 Italia of Lucchini-Venturi (BMS-Scuderia Italia).

The top ten was rounded up by Mugelli-Di Amato (Ferrari 458 Italia-MP1 Corse) followed by the Lamborghini Gallardo of Babini-Ceccato (Imperiale Racing) and the Ferrari 458 Italia of Gai-Bontempelli (Team Malucelli).

In GT Cup the top step of the podium went to Zanardini-Perel (Lamboghini Gallardo-Bonaldi Motorsport) who proceeded the two Porsche 997 of the brothers Pastorelli (Krypton Motorsport) and Baccani-Venerosi (Ebimotors).

The fourth place went to the Ebimotors lineup Maino-Selva, that led the two Ferrari 458 Challenge of Del Prete-Caso (Scuderia Victoria) and Renato Di Amato (Sport Made in Italy), the Porsche 997 of the brothers Zangari (Ghinzani Arco Motorsport), the Lamborghini Gallardo of Durante Comi (Imperiale Racing), the Ferrari 458 Challenge of Carboni-Romani and the Lamborghini Gallardo of Valore-Cecchi (Eurotech Engineering).

The final two races of the weekend are scheduled for tomorrow. GT Cup's race will start at 10,45 and will be followed by that of GT3 at 12,10.
