BMW and Porsche on top in the 4th round of the Italian GT. Victory for Comandini-Gagliardini (GT3) and Passuti-Goldstein (GT Cup)

ROAL Motorsport's drivers proceeded Mapelli-Amici (Audi R8) and Frassineti-Beretta (Ferrari 458 Italia), as Antonelli Motorsport's color bearers ended ahead of the Porsche of Maino-Selva and Venerosi-Baccani. In Coppa Lamborghini Huracan, Mengozzi repeated the victory of race-1.

Comandini-Gagliardini (BMW Z4) get the victory in race-2 at the 4th round of the Italian GT Championship held at the circuit of Mugello. ROAL Motorsport's driveres proceeded the Audi R8 LMS of Mapelli-Amici (Audi Sport Italia) by 4"964s and the Ferrari 458 Italia of Frassineti-Beretta (Ombra Racing) by 8"947s.

Frassineti-Beretta got the lead of the classification at 71 points, with only one point of advantage to Casè-Gattuso, followed by Schirò-Berton (65), Donativi-Postiglione (63) and Bortolotti-Viberti (61).

Three Porsche 997 ended on the podium of the GT Cup instead, as Passuti-Goldstein (Antonelli Motorsport) led the two lineups of Ebimotors Maino-Selva and Venerosi-Baccani. On top of the classification, Pastorelli brothers (Krypton Motorsport) reached 93 points leading Maino-Selva (87), Zanardini-Perel (76) and Venerosi-Baccani (65).

Manuele Mengozzi (Vincenzo Sospiri Racing) repeated the victory in race-1 of the Coppa Lamborghini Huracan proceeding Tanca-Zaugg (Raton Racing), that confirmed to be on top with 115 points, and Massimo Mantovani (Antonelli Motorsport).

Race-2: Twists started from the formation lap, as Marcello Puglisi was forced to the retirement due to an axle shaft failure. At the start, the poleman Zonzini got the lead ahead of Postiglione, but in the heat of the initial stages Ebimotors' driver had a contact with Mapelli and Gagliardini and went off on the gravel. Fortunately, Postiglione managed to rejoin from the back starting a gritty recover, while Mapelli installed himself behind his team mate leading Gagliardini, Biagi, Camathias, Ceccato, Beretta, Berton, Gai and Mugelli. In GT Cup, Durante got the lead from Perel to Scilla, while in the Coppa Lamborghini Huracan Mengozzi had the best of Mantovani and Zaugg.

At lap 5 Biagi found his way past Mapelli, as the latter was penalized by some electronic problems that caused a lot of misfires and Gagliardini closed in on the Audi driver, while two laps later Berton got a puncture and was forced to slowly get back into the pits. In the Coppa Lamborghini Huracan, Zaugg got the lead from Mengozzi to Mantovani.

At lap 10, Gagliardini started putting some pressure on Mapelli and the BMW driver gained P3, while Scilla got the lead in GT Cup from Selva to Perel.
At lap 11, right before the drivers change, Magli got beached while fighting with Postiglione. Mapelli, got the third position on Gagliardini installing himself right behind Biagi and ahead of Camathias.

As all cars were back on track, Amici, thanks to the 10 seconds handicap due to the second place in race-1, found himself on top leading Comandini, Capello, Calamia, Frassineti, Francioni, Babini, Gattuso, Mora and Tedeschi, that spun at lap 16 at the Bucine corner ending his race there. In GT Cup, Zanardini proceeded Maino and De Castro, while in the Coppa Lamborghini Huracan, Tanca  led Mengozzi and Mantovani.

At lap 21 Comandini got the slipstream of Amici and got past him taking the lead of the race, while Frassineti was fourth taking Calamia, that a lap after ended his race in the gravel trap. Babini also ended his race in the gravel leaving the eighth position to Mora ahead of an unleashed Bortolotti. Gattuso, was fighting with Francioni for 6th, and when three laps were left to go spun but without damaging the car. The race was finished at the penultimate lap for Francioni who got beached to defen himself from the attack of Mora.

At the flag, Comandini got the first victory of the season ahead of Mapelli and Frassineti, while Capello was relegated to P4 due to a time penalty for irregular drivers change. In GT Cup, Maino-Selva were also penalized and the victory went to Passuti-Goldstein, while the third place went to Venerosi-Baccani. In the Coppa Lamborghini Huracan, Mengozzi proceeded Tanca-Zaugg and Massimo Mantovani.
