The two races of GT3 and GT Cup recorded the victory of the outfit from Sant'Agata Bolognese with Bortolotti-Viberti in the highest class, and with Zanardini-Perel in the class reserved for the cars in the single-branded configuration.

The lineup of Imperiale Racing proceeded the two Ferraris 458 Italia of Casè-Gattuso (Scuderia Baldini 27) and Schirò-Berton (Villorba Corse), while Bonaldi Motorsport's drivers led the two Porsche 997 of Pastorelli brothers (Krypton Motorsport) and of Venerosi-Baccani (Ebimotors). Two more races are scheduled for tomorrow at local 12 (GT3) and at 13,10 (GT Cup) that will enjoy live TV Coverage on Raisport1 and AutomotoTV and web live streaming on www.acisportitalia.it/GT.

Race-1 GT3: At the go, Postiglione got the lead from Viberti, Ferrara, Casè and Amici, while Schirò slipped down into sixth. The heat of the start had a first victim in the flawless Pezzucchi, who was hit at Trincea corner and got stranded. In the Coppa Lamborghini Huracan, Baruch proceeded Tanca and Mantovani.

The safety car deployment neutralized the race for a couple of laps and at the restart Postiglione kept the lead ahead of Viberti, Ferrara, Casè, Amici, Schirò, Gagliardini, Palma, Calamia, Cipriani and Beretta. The latter was hit by Cipriani at lap 5, had a spin and lost seven positions, meanwhile, Gagliardini rejoined in last position after an excursion on the grass. From the back, Capello gained some ground after starting from the pits due to an error in the formation procedure gaining a points position at lap six.

Cipriani had a violent contact with the pit wall at the exit of Roma corner on lap nine and the safety car was deployed again. Pit window opened during the neutralization and all lineups decided to pit. Back on track, Bortolotti, who took over from Viberti, was on the lead ahead of Donativi, who replaced Postiglione at the wheel, who in turn proceeded Gattuso, Magli, Berton, Di Amato, Mapelli and Faccioni. The latter, who took over from Baruch, confirmed to be on top of the Coppa Huracan ahead of Alessandri and Zaugg.

Gattuso got past Donativi at lap15 and got P2 as Magli the position to Di Amato and Sini. Two laps later, Berton managed to find his way past Ebimotors driver, while Zaugg installed himself in P2 of the Coppa Huracan.

Comandini hit Monfardini at lap 17 and both drivers had to retire. Two laps after, Mapelli got past Di Amato for P5, while Zonzini could not avoid a contact -- luckily without consequences -- with Frassineti for P8. Donativi lost a couple of positions more at lap 22, to the advantage of Mapelli first and then Di Amato, while Zaugg got the lead of the Coppa Huracan from Baruch to Alessandri.

Eying the chequered flag, Bortolotti managed well his advantage on Gattuso, while Berton, Mapelli, Di Amato and Donativi followed but the driver from Rome had to concede his position also to Zonzini and Frassineti in the end. The sting in the tail was for Sini who had to retire due to a problem to the backend of his Corvette when he seemed to be all set to gain P9. The position was inherited by Camathias who led Magli. In the Coppa Lamborghini Huracan Zaugg and co-equiper Tanca, got the sixth win of the season leading Faccioni and Alessandri, getting very close to an early win of the title.

Race-1 GT Cup: Poleman Maino got the lead at the start followed by Perel, Pastorelli, Valori, Comi, Russo, Sposito and Venerosi. Behind the leader, Perel moved an attack at lap seven but Pastorelli got the most of it and took P2. Comi got stranded while at lap 10 Perel gained P2 and Russo found his way past Valori. The race got inflamed again shortly afterwards as Pastorelli got P2 again and Valori regained his position off Russo.

Perel took the lead at lap 11, while right before the pit window opened, Russo got past Valori for P4. Back on track, Zanardini confirmed his lead from Pastorelli to Selva, while Bodega was fourth and proceeded Del Prete, Baccani, Goldstein, Di Amato and Romani.

Baccani put in a great comeback and claimed all the way to the podium, at lap 27 Ebimotors driver installed himself behind Zanardini, who had a solitary lead with a 13 seconds gap and behind Pastorelli, cconfirming his third place at the flag proceeding Selva, Del Prete, Goldstein, Bodega, Romani, De La Reina and Lima.
