In the race reserved for the GT3 class, Bruno Spengler and Jens Klingmann (BMW M4 GT3 - BMW Italia-Ceccato Racing Team) emerged victorious, followed by Marco Butti (Audi R8 LMS - Audi Sport Italia) and teammates Tamburini-De Luca. Tomorrow, two more races are scheduled. At 15:20, there will be a 50-minute + 1 lap race for the GT3 class, followed by a 48-minute + 1 lap race for the GT Cup class at 16:40. Both races will be broadcast live on Acisport TV (SKY 228), on the website www.acisport/CIGT and on the championship's social media platforms, Facebook and YouTube. Additionally, the two GT3 class races will be broadcast live on Raisport (Channel 58).

GT3: Race 1 was a true triumph for BMW, with two teams on the podium after a hard-fought race that was marked by the entry of a safety car. The success of Spengler-Klingmann started right from the beginning with a fantastic start by the Canadian driver, who quickly took the lead from the second row ahead of Butti, Petrov and Mazzola. At the driver change, Klingmann maintained the lead ahead of Butti and his teammate De Luca, setting himself up for the first victory of the season despite the safety car intervention caused by Nurmi's incident.

At the restart, the BMW representative immediately extended his lead over the chasing pack and went on to win ahead of Marco Butti. The 18-year-old driver from Audi Sport Italia delivered an outstanding race on his own, fighting on equal terms with the more experienced opponents and finishing ahead of the second BMW team, De Luca-Tamburini. The young driver from Mantova did an excellent job in the first stint, staying in touch with the front-runners before handing over the car to his co-driver, who had his work cut out for him in the final stages to defend against Coluccio's charge. They also secured a first-place finish among the PRO-AM teams for BMW.

Just off the podium were Coluccio-Mazzola, second in the PRO-AM category, who climbed up the field with the Best Lap Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo from the seventh position on the grid. They finished ahead of Liberati-Michelotto, who also staged an impressive comeback after starting from the back row due to a technical issue in the first official practice session. They crossed the finish line ahead of their teammates Llarena-Moulin and Denes-Gvazava (Lamborghini Huracan GT3 - Imperiale Racing), who took third place in the PRO-AM category.

The top ten was completed by the eighth-place finish of Kelstrup-Sandrucci (Mercedes AMG GT3 - Antonelli Motorsport), the ninth-place finish of Greco-Gnos (Honda NSX GT3 - Nova Race), who were penalized by an involuntary off-track excursion early in the race by the Piedmontese driver, and the tenth-place finish of Ciglia-Fascicolo (Lamborghini Huracan GT3 - Imperiale Racing), who topped the GT3 AM category ahead of Magnoni-Bodellini (Honda NSX GT3 - Nova Race) and Marco Pulcini (Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo 2020 - AF Corse).

Unfortunately, there was a lot of misfortune for poleman Stuart White (Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo 2020 - AF Corse), who quickly dropped back after a contact in the early stages of the race and then retired due to a subsequent technical issue.

GT Cup: It was a challenging and eventful race for the one-make configuration cars, marked by the intervention of three safety cars. The battle began right from the start with a violent collision involving the cars of Zanardini, Romani, Baccani and Ferri at the Roggia corner.

The race was neutralized until the seventh lap, when the pole-sitter Colavita maintained his lead ahead of Biagi and Pera, who engaged in a thrilling duel for several laps, followed by Demarchi, Scarpetta, and Fabi. The driver changes seemed to stabilize the race, with Maggi taking over from Colavita in the lead, followed by Del Col, who replaced Biagi, and Riva, who took over from Fabi. However, a second safety car was necessary due to Zanon's off-track excursion.

Upon the restart, Patrinicola, who took over from Demarchi, moved up to second position. However, a third safety car was deployed, neutralizing the race once again following the incident involving Di Giusto, Prandi and Del Col. This brought an end to any competitive intentions, and the drivers crossed the finish line under the chequered flag. Colavita-Maggi secured the victory ahead of Demarchi-Patrinicola and Fabi-Riva, the latter leading the GT Cup AM category with the DL Racing Huracan ST. In this subclass, Nicoli-Scarpetta (Ferrari 488 Challenge - Best Lap) took the second step of the podium, followed by Croccolino-Luvisi (Porsche 991 GT3 Cup - GDL Racing).
