The selection will continue in the two next rounds of the Italian CSAI Karting Championship scheduled in Sant´Egidio alla Vibrata (Teramo) on 28 August and Ortona (Chieti) on 2 October.

The three drivers selected in Lonato:

NICOLA MARCON, 16 years old, living in Jesolo. Nicola Marcon started karting by chance. In fact, a family friend, Luca Giacchetto from Jesolo Karting School, initiated him to this sportive discipline and Nicola therefore started learning the basics of driving at 10 on his first kart that was a gift from Giacchetto. The fun became passion and it involved the whole Marcon family. The sportive steps followed so far are the 60 Mini, the KF3 and now the KF2 where Nicola obtained very good results. This year Nicola Marcon is involved in International races as official driver of Kosmic and he also takes part in the Italian CSAI Karting Championship with team DEP Competition on Tony Kart-Vortex.

ANTONIO FUOCO, 15 years old from Cosenza. Antonio Fuoco, is also known with the nickname "Speedy" and has an important sportive cv. He started at 7 years of age in the Regional Calabria championship where he won three titles, two of which in the class 50 Baby and one in the 60 Mini. In 2007 he won the Euro Trophy in 60 Mini. Moved to KF3, in 2009 he won the “Trofeo delle Industrie” and ended third in the Italian Championship. Last year he was official CRG driver and turned out to be one of the major protaognists of the Italian Open Masters (second place in the championship) and in the European KF3. In this season, Antonio raced in KF3 in International championships with team Comer, but moved now to team Morsicani on Tony Kart-Vortex. He is currently leading the WSK Master.

FEDERICO PEZZOLLA, 15 years old from Fasano. Federico Pezzolla got acquainted with motor-racing since his birth: his father, Oronzo Pezzolla, has been official Audi and Skoda driver and nowadays he still enjoys racing in some important round of time attack mountain races. Federico got to know karting at 3, debuting afterwards officially in the 50 Baby and he is holding a difficult to match record: rolling over in qualifying and victory in the race! Since then he has several participations in Italian races on his scoreboard and two Italian titles missed only for misfortune. Since last year he has been racing in KF3 with team Taglienti, on Intrepid-Tm. This year Federico takes part in the WSK Master and in the Italian Championship where he is leading the standings with 4 victories and 3 third places.
