The new category Formula 60 ACI/CSAI Karting is going to be reserved to children aged between 8 and 9 having Grade E Licence. All inclusive rent at Euros 980 + VAT per race. Three scheduled rounds: 23 June in Val Vibrata, 28 July in Siena, 15 September in Lonato.
The new category will see 8-9 years old drivers having Grade E licence will be called Formula 60 ACI/CSAI Karting and will be managed on track by Birel S.p.A. that won the tender to provide chassis and engine – assignation done by lot – to all the entered drivers as well as slick tyres (3 front and 3 rear sets). A tent spot and swipe cards will also be provided.
The rental will also include the seat that will remain property of the driver at the end of the three races and a second set of wheels in the case of rainy conditions. The schedule of each round will comprise free practice, heats and finals on the three racing days of Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Karts provided by Birel will be 60 Easykart, complying to the technical regulations of the Trophy promoted by Birel.
Chassis and engines will be draw by lot each racing Friday morning. In order to guarantee the highest transparency of the initiative, the engine will be sealed with a mark stamped by a CSAI's officer.
It will be possible to replace the engine unit in every moment of each event.
Tyres assignations will be done by lot with the park-fermè system. Each round will be run on the distance of 8km for each heat, while Final one will be 12km long and Final two 10km.
The renting fee of the kart complete with chassis, engine, tyres, fuel, seat, tent spot and swipe card will be of Euros 980 + VAT per race. Entering fee for the race and for the Italian Championship will also be included.
Each driver will be entitle to the support of a personal mechanic or, if required, of a mechanic provided by Birel (at the cost of Euros 400 + VAT per driver, for a mechanic shared by up to two drivers).
Race damages are not included and a deposit of Euros 600.00 will have to be paid at the entering of each race.
At the end of the 3 races of the Italian championship, ACI-CSAI will award a global prize of Euros 600 for all drivers taking part to all the three races in the calendar.
