The initiative in collaboration with Ferrari Driver Academy to select the best young drivers of the Italian CSAI Karting Championship will be repeated starting from the season opener of Sarno this weekend. The Supercorso of Vallelunga as final prize.
For the third year in a row the selection will take place on the circuits of the Italian CSAI Karting Championship thanks also to the collaboration of ACI-CSAI, ACI-CSAI's Federal School of Vallelunga and ACI Sport.
In the past two editions, the following drivers had the chance to take part in the Supercorso organized by the Federal School of Vallelunga with a test on a Formula ACI-CSAI Abarth challenger at the end of the selection made after each race: in 2012 Cristopher Zani (final winner) with Luca Corberi and Francesco Iacovacci, in 2011 Antonio Fuoco (final winner) with Alberto Di Folco and Alessio Santilli.
The selection procedure will involve two drivers for each one of the 5 rounds of the championship with an evaluation that for the weekend of Sarno will be made by Gabriele Lancieri from the Federal School of Vallelunga in collaboration with Raffaele Giammaria.
All the selected drivers will be invited to Maranello for a psycho-attitude stage and then the best three drivers will be awarded with the Federal Supercorso scheduled from 4 to 7 November 2013 which will involve practical test on a Formula ACI-CSAI Abarth.
During the season some other testing days will be scheduled in Vallelunga and Fiornao where some of the selected drivers could be invited to run a first test ahead of the final Supercorso scheduled for November.
