Siena going pop with 200 drivers competing in the third round of the Italian CSAI Karting Championship

Record entry list in Siena. Strong presence in KZ2 with a lot of champions and 60 Mini ready to break a new record. Very good also in KF3, good figures in KF2, solid level for the new Formula 60 ACI-CSAI with the innovative all inclusive rental.

The third round of the Italian CSAI Karting Championship scheduled for this coming weekend at the Circuit of Siena will have a very good entry list that set a new record as the round will see 200 drivers involved.

All the categories, starting from KZ2 to the smallest Formula 60 ACI-CSAI Karting will have a good number of drivers on track. The most crowded category is going to be 60 Mini, that honoured its name with 60 drivers; KZ2 follows with more than 50 drivers, then the KF3 with about 40 entered drivers and KF2 with more than 20. Constant figures for the new Formula 60 ACI-CSAI, that will have 20 drivers on track.

Siena's entry list will feature a very good quality in all categories and especially in KZ2 that will involve drivers like the French Jérémy Iglesias, Lenzo Kart works driver, 2009 and 2010 vice-World and Europe Champion, Marzo Zanchetta, Maranello Kart's works driver and protagonist this year in the European and WSK Euro Series KZ2, Sauro Cesetti, Top Kart's works driver and among the strongest of the category and Mirko Torsellini, works driver for Tony Kart and among the candidates to the win on the home circuit.

Then all the championship's protagonists will be on track to keep on going in their title quest like Massimo Dante (Maranello), Marco Pastacaldi (Birel), Francesco Celenta (Energy), Loris Spinelli (now on CRG), Luigi Di Poto (Rosso Korsa), Alessandro Giulietti (Intrepid), and several youngsters like Mattia Drudi (Maranello), Federico Pezzolla (Intrepid), Gianni Vigorito (Birel) and Alessio Piccini (Tony Kart).

In KF3 an eye will have to be kept on the two Lorandi brothers of Baby Race that in this occasion will have the support of Maini Kush and Presley Martono; the Romanian Petru Florescu winner of the last round in Sant'Egidio alla Vibrata is called to a confirmation as the young Giuliano Alesi (son of former Ferrari's driver Jean Alesi) that is gaining more and more confidence in the category.

In KF2 eyes will be on the brothers Moretti, that last year were absolute protagonists while in this season they are currently a bit down in the standings that are led by Julien Darras.

In 60 Mini, with 60 drivers at the start, uncertainty will fade only in the end as in the case of the new Formula 60 ACI-CSAI where the identical technical preparation decided by the Federation and implemented by Birel with the project "all inclusive rental” will grant a performance equilibrium that will enhance spectacle on track.

Free practice took place today while tomorrow (Friday) official free practice will start producing the first verdicts. The programme will continue on Saturday with qualifying and heats and then on Sunday the two Finals will have live TV coverage on Nuvolari starting from 10,25 (GMT+1).
