The fourth round of the Italian CSAI Karting Championship is scheduled for this coming weekend at the South Garda Karting track of Lonato and it will be an interesting race also due to the high number of drivers making their debut in the Italian Championship this year.

On top of all the drivers entered to the whole championship, more than 40 drivers will make their debut in the Italian Championship at Lonato; among these, the French talent Dorian Boccolacci, 15 years old Energy works driver that is part of the F1 Lotus Junior Team. Boccolacci is one of the main protagonists of the International KF. He obtained a very good ninth place in the recent World Championship held in Brandon (England) and won the WSK Euro Series and the WSK Master Series this year.

Boccolacci will compete in the category with the shift KZ2 in Lonato as the French champion decided to make his debut to prepare the forthcoming World Championship race to be held the following weekend in Varennes (France). It is going to be interesting to keep an eye on the performance of this young champion and compare it with the protagonists of the KZ2 of the Italian Championship.

The programme of Lonato's round will start on Thursday 12 September with free practice of categories KZ2, KF2 and KF3. Free practice will be extended to 60 Mini and Formula 60 AC/CSAI on Friday.

Qualifying will follow on Saturday 14 September as well as qualifying heats. After the repechage race, all finals (with live TV coverage on Nuvolari) on Sunday starting from 10.24 (GMT+2).
