The tri-colored weekend of Sarno opened the second round of the Italian ACI-CSAI Karting Championship as the International Circuit Napoli confirms the positive trend in terms of presence with 150 drivers on track. This is a good signal for the championship and for the circuit that will also house -- next 7 - 10 July -- another important round of ACI CSAI and Federal School Vallelunga with the "Kart Summer Camp" reserved to very young drivers aged between 6 and 10 for a first approach to karting.

Great presence especially in KZ2 (58 drivers), but also in 60 Mini (47 drivers) , while KF3 (29 drivers) marked an increment from La Conca and KF2 will have 15 drivers on track.

KZ2 practice confirmed the competitiveness of local drivers that know very well the circuit, as happened lat year to Di Poto, and this year Ciro Mollo (Rosso Korsa), set the quickest lap of the day in 1'04"565. The protagonists of the championship have also been very quick, as the two final winners in La Conca, Lorenzo Camplese and Marco Zanchetta, both on Maranello, and Luca Tilloca (Art GP). Among the new entries, the French driver Jeremy Iglesias -- Lenzokart's works driver -- was to the fore, together with Flavio Sani (Birel), the past two editions champion Alessandro Giulietti (Intrepid), the Spaniard Pedro Hiltbrand (CRG), Luca Corberi (Kosmic), Antonio Piccioni (CKR), Nicola Gnudi (Maranello) and Mirko Torsellini (Art GP), all of these drivers were within a few hundredths of a second.

Marco Maestranzi (Top Kart) set the pace in KF2 after dominating the first round, while the protagonist of KF3 in La Conca, Remigio Garofano and Aldo Festante were on top of the charts both on Tony Kart-LKE. Leonardo Lorandi, with team Baby Race back to Parilla engines, is ready to slot in the front runners.

On Friday 60 Mini run free practice without timing and therefore the day of Saturday will delineate the first protagonists of the weekend in this category.
