FUSCO SECURED THE 60 MINI TITLE
Class 60 Mini has been quite awaited and it featured again a good number of drivers at the start (38) as the attention was focused on the two classification leaders: the driver from Naples Giuseppe Fusco on Lenzokart-Lke and the Norwegian Dennis Hauger (CRG/Hero-Lke). Fusco came out as winner of the title he has been chasing since last year. He has put in a very tight first final that he won leading a combative Hauger and Matteo Michelotto (Top Kart-Parilla) after a lively positions exchange on top of the race. This victory gave Fusco the mathematical certainty of the title. Fusco got again the podium in the second final, despite starting from the eighth place of the grid due to the top eight inversion, as the victory went to the Russian Dimitri Bogdanov (Tony Kart-Lke), who finished ahead of ”Skeed” (Top Kart-Parilla). Behind Fusco, Hauger was fourth.
The Final Classification of the 60 Mini Italian Championship: 1. Fusco points 188; 2. Hauger 156; 3. Bogdanov 127.
