As scheduled, the third round of the Italian ACI Karting Championship is going on stage this weekend at the Adria Karting Raceway with a good number of drivers, that marks a new presence record in the Italian championship: 233 entered drivers and 232 verified. The highest category, KZ2 will have 51 drivers on track, and the category of the youngest 60 Mini will have 68 racers on track. Prodriver Under follows at 33, 125 Club at 26, Prodriver Over at 18, OK Junior at 17, ACI Kart at 11 and ACI Kart Junior at 8.

This is a positive trend that follows the first two rounds of Castelletto (207 drivers) and Sarno (201) which is a very good result for this seventh season of the Italian Championship promoted by ACI Sport. A positive fact is that numbers have been fairly constant in the three rounds, the bigger figures of Adria are due to the fact that all categories will get on track for this round as 125 Club was not present in Castelletto, while the two categories Prodriver were not present in Sarno.

The programme has been modified due to the high number of participants. After the heats starting on Saturday at 10.10, second chance races for KZ2 will be run in the afternoon (at 18.20) and for 60 Mini (at 19.00) to define the remaining places on the grid of the Sunday Finals. The double Finals for each category will take place on Sunday July 10th with live TV coverage on AutoMotoTV and web streaming from local 9.45. The programme: Race1 Prodriver Under at 9,45, Prodriver Over at 10.15, Club at 10,45, ACI Kart at 11.15, OK Junior at 11.45, Mini at 12,15, ACI Kart Junior 12.45 and KZ2 at 13,15. The second series of Races2 will start at 14,25 with the same sequence as Race1.
