All is set at the Kartodrome of Val Vibrata, in Sant’Egidio alla Vibrata (Teramo), ahead of the fifth and closing round of the Italian ACI Karting Championship for categories KZ2, 60 Mini, OK Junior, ACI Kart and ACI Kart Junior, that will get on track alongside 125 Club for their third and closing round on October 16th. Support races will also see Entry Level and Prodriver on track.

The Italian titles of all categories will be awarded in this fifth round. In KZ2 Francesco Celenta on Formula K-Tm accumulated a good advantage thanks to five victories and several placings that put him on top of the classification 88 points clear of Mirko Torsellini on Exprit-Tm.

As in Triscina, the round of Sant’Egidio alla Vibrata will have coefficient 1,5 and therefore the points awarded to the winner will go from 40 up to 60 for the first final on Sunday, while from 26 to 39 for the the second, for a total of 99 points. The best 8 out of 10 results will be used to draw the final classification. Celenta just needs a handful of points in the two Finals to secure the Italian title.

The crowded and tight 60 Mini will be more uncertain, as the young Sicilian Gabriele Minì is leading with a good advantage after dominating the round of Triscina. Minì reached level 214 points and is followed by Leonardo Caglioni on Evokart-Tm at 161 points and by the French Evann Mallet on CRG-Tm at 138. Chances to get on top of the standings also for two Gamoto drivers on CRG-Tm: Alfio Spina is in fact fourth at 130 points, while the Spanish Josè Gomez stands at 128. Their deed is going to be quite difficult though.

OK Junior is a lot more open, as Marzio Moretti is leading the classification on Tony Kart-Vortex with 134 points, but Nicolò Genisi is 22 points adrift on Formula K-Tm. The other drivers are showing a crescendo of results: Giuseppe Fusco is second equal on points with Genisi on Lenzokart-Lke, while Andrea Rosso is fourth at 108 points on BirelArt-Tm.

ACI Kart’s situation is quite uncertain too, as Alessandro Di Cori is currently leading at 131 points and Cristian Comanducci is following him at 101, both on Tony Kart-Iame. In ACI Kart Junior the Polish driver Alexander Bardas built a 33 points lead on Matteo Maria Roccadelli (Evokart-Iame) taking a double victory in Triscina on DR-Iame.
