A good number of drivers are expected in Triscina for the opener of the Italian ACI Karting Championship. The subscription deadline is due soon.

The opening round of the Italian ACI Karting Championship will take place in Triscina from April 18th to 21st. Registration details are available. Significant media coverage includes live broadcasts on ACI Sport TV and live streaming and a special page on Corriere dello Sport.

Rome, April 10th, 2024.
We are on the eve of the 64th edition of the Italian ACI Karting Championship, continuously held since 1961, and there is already significant interest in the opening race of the Series, to be held in Sicily, at the renovated Triscina International Circuit (Trapani), where a significant turnout is expected.

The following categories will be on track: MINI GR.3 Under 10, MINI Gr.3, OK-N, OK-N Junior, KZ2 (including KZ2 Under 18 with separate classification), and KZ2 Master (for those over 40), featuring many of the most qualified teams at both national and international levels.

Registration Procedure:
Entries must be submitted to the respective organizers' address by 18:00 on the Monday before the race. The registration fee is Euro 500.00 + VAT for each event. Applications received by the organizer after the Monday preceding the race will not be accepted.
The registration fee includes:
Registration for the Italian ACI Karting Championship;
Promotion of the Italian ACI Karting Championship;
Friday's free practice sessions.

Circuit-hotel shuttle service.
From Wednesday, April 17th to Sunday, April 21st, 2024, the Triscina circuit offers free shuttle service for drivers and accompanying persons between the hotel and the track, and vice versa. To book the transfer, please contact the circuit's secretary or send an email to: info@circuitotriscina.com.

The format of the Italian Championship:

Thursday: Free practice sessions;
Friday: Free practice sessions, official free practice, qualifying sessions;
Saturday: Qualifying heats;
Sunday: Live TV coverage of the final phase with Race 1 and Race 2.
At the end of Race 1 and Race 2, the top three finishers in each class receive the honorary prizes provided by the Organizer. Within the KZ2 class, there will be separate awards for KZ2 Under 18 and KZ2 Master.


The 2024 Italian ACI Karting Championship will award the following titles:

Italian Karting Drivers Champion MINI Gr.3 Under 10 (born from January 1, 2014);
Italian Karting Drivers Champion MINI Gr.3;
Italian Karting Drivers Champion OK-N J;
Italian Karting Drivers Champion OK-N;
Italian Karting Drivers Champion KZ2;
Italian Karting Drivers Champion KZ2 Under 18 (born from January 1, 2006);
Italian Karting Drivers Champion KZ2 Master (born until December 31, 1983).

On ACI Sport TV (on Sky channel 228 and Freeview channel 52), the event can be followed live on TV, via live streaming, and on-demand on the website www.acisport.it, and the Facebook page of the Italian ACI Karting Championship at https://www.facebook.com/ACIKarting.
A television special will be broadcast the following week on ACI Sport TV, RAI Sport, and other national and regional broadcasters throughout the country.
On Tuesday, April 23rd, the Corriere dello Sport will feature a special page with photos and comments on the event.
ACI Radio will feature connections and interviews.

The Calendar of the ACI Karting 2024 Championship.
The Italian Championship will continue after Triscina with the following stages: on May 19th in La Conca (Muro Leccese), June 23rd in Val Vibrata, July 21st in Sarno, and will conclude on September 22nd in Lonato with the addition of the historic karts of the Legend category. The one-race event reserved for the KZN will take place on September 8th in Viterbo.
