Misano race 3 cancelled due to bad weather

Rain started pouring when the cars, on a humid track, were ready for the start on slick tyres

Awful weather conditions with pouring rain stop race 3 and force race direction to cancel the third of the three challenges of the weekend in Misano.

Race is so postponed to a date which will be eventually identified.

At the end of ACI Racing Weekend in Misano, second appointment of the Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth, drivers’ classification sees still Gianluca Petecof (Prema Powerteam) first with 100 points, in front of Joshua Duerksen (BWT Muecke Motorsport) and Dennis Hauger (Van Amersfoort Racing) both with 44 points. Fourth is Michael Belov (Bhai Tech Racing) with 41, fifth Niklas Kruetten (Van Amersfoort Racing) with 37 and sixth Oliver Rasmussen (Prema Powerteam) with 36 points.

Among Rookies first is an amazing Joshua Duerksen with 83 points, in front of Roman Stanek (US Racing) with 61 points, Paul Aron (Prema Powerteam) with 53, Daniel Vebster (Cram Motorsport) one point behind, Roee Meyuhas (Cram Motorsport) with 44, and Lorenzo Ferrari (Antonelli Motorsport) with 41 points.

In the special women Trophy Amna Al Qubaisi (Abu Dhabi Racing), much grown since last year and strongly improving, is the only woman and has gained full points.

Among teams first is Prema Powerteam with 145 points, followed by Van Amersfoort Racing with 116 and BWT Muecke Motorsport with 66.

Next race will be held on Hungaroring circuit 5-7 July.
