Collective test comes to a end at Autodromo Nazionale Monza, the long 4-hour session is over. The fastest in the session were the four US Racing drivers, with Irishman Alexander Dunne setting the pace with a 1'53.282 lap. Nikhil Bohra followed at 3 hundredths of a second, then Pole Kacper Sztuka, still inside tenth with +0.096. Closing out the lineup of German team drivers was French Finn Marcus Amand at +0.171.

The gaps are narrow on the first day, with 23 drivers under a one-second gap, in a first opportunity to better prepare the setup of the Tatuus T421s for the weekend.  An opportunity taken abundantly by all the drivers, who took advantage of the track time by managing to complete a considerable number of laps, despite some brief interruptions. Also testing with the Iron Lynx team was Spanish driver Laura Camps, but she will not take part in the rest of the weekend.

The weekend's program, after Thursday's collective tests, includes two free practice sessions on Friday, Oct. 7 (10:20-11:00 and 13:00-13:40), then qualifying sessions on Saturday morning, Oct. 8 (8:30-8:45 and 8:55-9:10). Still Saturday will be race 1, starting at 15:10 (30 minutes + 1 lap).
