It's the moment of truth for the Italian F4 Championship, which returns to the track in Imola this weekend (April 21/23) for the first of seven rounds of the season. And with it, also the AKM Motorsport team, which on the Santerno circuit presents itself with the poker of drivers announced a week ago.

The team led by Marco Antonelli is therefore preparing to face the opening round of the Italian series with four rookies, all obviously very young, who answer to the names of Enzo Deligny, Tina Hausmann, Davide Larini and Griffin Peebles.

The youngest of these is Frenchman Deligny, who turned 15 last Monday. One new addition is 16-year-old Swiss Hausmann, the first girl to join the ranks of the AKM Motorsport team, a team that is in its fourth year in the Italian F4 Championship. Important name that of Larini, who is also 15 years old and is the son of former Formula 1 driver Nicola. Finally, from Australia comes Peebles, the same age as Larini and Deligny.

All four drivers in Imola are called first of all to grind kilometers and accumulate experience in a high-level context such as the Championship signed by ACI Sport, after having successfully completed the pre-season tests.

A program, that of the upcoming weekend, which will come to life as early as tomorrow with the collective tests and then from Friday with the free practice sessions (two rounds of 40 minutes each). On Friday, starting at 5:30 p.m., the two qualifying sessions will also take place.

The first of the four races, each lasting 25 minutes plus one lap, will start Saturday morning at 11:55 a.m. and will precede Race 2, whose green light will come on at 6:20 p.m. Races 3 and 4 are scheduled for 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday.

All races will be live streamed on the social channels (Facebook and YouTube) of the championship and live on ACI Sport TV, visible on Sky channel 228.
