Ugo Ugochukwu shines in the second free practice session at Mugello Circuit

The American driver from PREMA Racing topped the session, with Kacper Sztuka only 8 thousandths of a second behind. Akshay Bohra remained the fastest of the day with this morning best lap

The American driver from PREMA Racing topped the charts in the second session on Friday afternoon, with his best lap closed with 1’48.147 on the clock. Following closely behind was Kacper Sztuka from US Racing, just 8 thousandths of a second behind. The leader of the Red Bull junior team, Arvid Lindblad from London, finished in third place, recording a gap of 0.131 seconds. 

Fourth place went to Zachary David, the Maltese-Filipino driver from US Racing, who trailed Ugochukwu by 0.436 seconds. Australian James Wharton from Ferrari Driver Academy followed closely in fifth place with a gap of 0.511 seconds. The distance was then reduced by his teammate, the Emirati driver Rashid Al Dhaheri, who secured the sixth position with a gap of 0.523 seconds, narrowly ahead of a Prema driver with Ferrari Driver Academy, the Finnish driver Tuukka Taponen. 

In the second session, Akshay Bohra from US Racing secured the eighth fastest time with a gap of 0.619 seconds. Bohra maintained his position as the fastest driver on Friday, thanks to the best lap time of the day set in the morning session (1’48.056). Ninth place went to Ivan Domingues, the Portuguese driver from Van Amersfoort Racing, with a gap of 0.622 seconds. Closing out the top 10 was another Van Amersfoort Racing driver, the Italian Brando Badoer, with a gap of 0.714 seconds from the session leader.

 

The action resumes on Saturday, September 30th, with qualifying. The first session will start from 10:20 to 10:35, followed by the second session from 10:45 to 11:00. Race 1 will start on Saturday evening at 17:50, lasting 30 minutes plus one lap. On Sunday, October 1st, Race 2 starts at 9:55 (30 minutes plus one lap), followed by the final race of the weekend, Race 3, at 16:50 (30 minutes plus one lap). 

The three races of the weekend will be broadcast live with English commentary on the Euro 4 Championship's YouTube and Facebook pages, as well as on Motorsport TV (https://eu.motorsport.tv/); Italian commentary will be available on ACI Sport TV (channel 228 on Sky), www.acisport.it, and the Facebook page @acisporttv.
