PREMA Racing will field British racer Freddie Slater in the 2024 Italian Formula 4 Championship and the Euro 4 Championship.

The promising 15-year-old made his single-seater debut last year coming from a stellar karting career that included taking one World and two European titles.

Moving to cars, he dominated the British Ginetta Junior Championship to win an early title. In the second half of 2023, he joined PREMA and entered the Euro 4 Championship at Monza, where he took a stunning pole position and fought for the win.

He also made selected starts in the British and Italian Championships. Last but not least, he was a podium contender at the Macau Grand Prix Formula 4 Race for SJM Theodore PREMA Racing.

Having made such an impression, he will now be joining the team full-time in the two major F4 series, while additional commitments are also expected to be announced in due course.

Angelo Rosin - Team Principal: "Freddie made an impressive team debut last year and was competitive within an experienced pack of drivers. He definitely showed great promise, but obviously, we still have work to do together ahead of a season we expect to be particularly competitive. We look forward to supporting him as he moves forward, and to working with him in the 2024 season."

Freddie Slater: "being part of PREMA is a massive thing for me. I'm really excited to get going with them in 2024. We are working very hard over the winter to be the best versions we can be, the team, and myself. They are putting a lot of trust into me and hopefully, I can deliver, and I wouldn't want to do it with any other Team."
