Verona, 9 October 2014 – Three lineups, three different cars got to the last act of the Italian Rally Championship, the 32nd Rally Due Valli, with almost identical chances to get the 2014 title. An extraordinary finale for a nice and exciting campaign. The Veronese Umberto Scandola, with Guido D'Amore at the notes on the the Skoda Fabia Super 2000, Giandomenico Basso, with Mitia Dotta on Ford Fiesta R5 powered by gpl and Paolo Andreucci with Anna Andreussi on the Peugeot 208 T16 R5, will be forced to win the race organized by Automobile Club of Verona to get the title they have been chasing for the whole season.
Previsions are quite difficult as the calculations, even if should Giandomenico Basso or Paolo Andreucci win, they will get the mathematical certainty of the title, while in case of the victory going to Umberto Scandola, the title will be decided by the result of the hearing of the appeal filed by Skoda in consequence to the disqualification handed at San Marino Rally. The race will also be decisive for the Italian Production Championship. The two main title contenders are Fabrizio Andolfi Junior and Ivan Ferrarotti, both on Renault New Clio R3. Giacomo Scattolon, Peugeot 208 R2, who already is Italian Junior Champion will also be present. A lot of interest will also involve the drivers racing in the single branded series like the Suzuki Rally Trophy, and the interesting and tight ACI Csai R1 Trophy, the Renault Twingo R2 Top Trophy and the Citroen Racing Trophy.

The race will start of Friday with technical and sportive scrutineering and shakedown. In the evening, at 19:31 (local) the official start from Piazza Bra will be followed by the first stage, "Torricelle” of 2,62 km at 20.00. Leg one will follow on Saturday 11 October. Four stages will have to be repeated twice, while two more stages are scheduled for Sunday. The finish line is set in Piazza Bra of Verona at 12,40. The race, all on tarmac, will unfold through a total of 471,16km, 154,06 of which timed.
Three live streamings by ACI Sport Italia are scheduled for this event. The first at the stop of "Torricelle” tomorrow evening at 19:55. Two more feeds will follow on Saturday, at the two passages of "Ca'del Diavolo” at 10:42 and 16:42 with live drivers interviews available at www.acisportitalia.it. Rai Sport 2 will show the highlights of the race on Saturday at around 23:15 and on Sunday the live coverage at 13:00 from Piazza Brà in Verona will close the event.
