The Danish is the real hero of the first appointment of the Formula Regional

It is Frederik Vesti (Prema Powerteam) to be the most successful driver of the first appointment of the Formula Regional European Championship certified by FIA, with two wins and a third place.

Very good also his teammate, Enzo Fittipaldi who, with a second position in race 1, a success in race 2 (result still provisional) and a second position in race 3, is second in general standings.

In race 3 grid has Vesti in pole, followed by David Schumacher, son of F1 Champion Ralf, and then Fittipaldi and Caldwell. At the start Schumacher is fast and takes the lead, but has to surrender to the very aggressive Vesti. After lap one snake sees Vesti, Schumacher, Fittipaldi and Fraga in the first 4 positions. Further back Lappalainen (Kic Motorsport) is involved in an accident and is out, while a few laps later also his teammate Blomqvist retires. 11 minutes to the end of the race Fittipaldi makes an amazing overtake on Schumacher, who was actually well resisting to the attacks of the Brazilian.

Great battle for 5th position also between Guzman and Caldwell, the youngest driver of the lot, with only 16 years of age. Challenge is great with Caldwell trying for many laps to overtake the Mexican, but never really managing to conquer 5th. The situation changes when Igor Fraga (DR Racing by RP Motorsport) loses the line in a curve and is then reached by the other two drivers. Guzman tries to overtake his teammate, but the two finally crash into each other and are out of the race with damaged cars.  Caldwell thanks and conquers 4th position. A positive race also by Sophia Floersch with a good 5th position.

In the championship standings great third position by Igor Fraga (DR Formula by RP Motorsport)
