With wet tires, Oliver Rasmussen is clearly the fastest. Unfortunate Leclerc stopped by engine problems.

Still holding on to the 2020 title mathematically, Oliver Rasmussen, third in the championship, has no intention of giving up and declares that he wants to win all three races at the Vallelunga circuit. Mission possible! In qualifying session, on a wet track and rain tires, the Danish driver is clearly the fastest. The pole of the first session is 1'44.803, with the second, Dennis Hauger, at 812 thousandths and the third Pierre-Louis Chovet at 1.336. A good result by Jamie-Laura Chadwick, fourth, while only fifth is the championship leader Gianluca Petecof (1'46.905).

In the second session, always on a wet track and rain tires, obviously, with sun and wind, the times progressively improve over the course of all 15 minutes. Rasmussen still the fastest with 1'42.814, followed at 591 thousandths by Konsta Lappalainen, then Patrik Pasma (1'43.456), Petecof (1'43.577) and Chovet (1'43.582).

Disaster for Arthur Leclerc, who after being plagued by technical problems in Imola, also in Vallelunga is stopped by an engine problem that does not allow him to carry out the two qualifying sessions.
